  i rented a van from southampton to stevenage last week one way. When i returned the van the man came out and immediately said there was a scuff mark on the bumper. I told him that we did not do anything but he insisted we did it somehow. My brother had noticed it before but said it was only tar from the road, it hadnt been marked on the paperwork by the southampton dealer. He called southampton rentals at my request but wouldnt let me speak to the manager there. He informed me that the manager would call me to discuss the problem. Needless to say he didnt so i called him and he hung up on me, when i called back numerous times he wouldnt even answer the phone. When i looked at the transaction on my Amex card the guy from stevenage enterprise had put over £330 on my card. I was furious so i called my Amex who immediately investigated it and i was given a credit for the extra charge. I have heard since that this Enterprise in Stevenage had been on the news regarding scamming customers and that this company in particular has a terrible reputation for doing this to its customers. This is disgusting and i will never use this company ever again and i warn anyone against dealing with these people. After reviewing my paperwork, they had screwed up that too, none of the figures added up and the agreement was not signed by me, but it had been put in my brothers name, . i have just returned from living in the USA so i could not safely drive in UK, but i was the one paying for the rental, i wanted to add my brother as a driver but they put it in his name with his signature so that contradicted what they told me was their policy anyway. I had used Enterprise in the USA before with no problems but to return home to UK and get treated like this really started my new life off poorly.Please be warned if you decide to do business with Enterprise in Stevenage, to thoroughly read the details and make sure your rental is checked over for dents, etc and marked on the paperwork. TOTAL SCAM, DO NOT RENT FROM THESE FOLKS!!!
